Max drawdown
In one line: a floor set the day your account is created, that never moves.
The floor#
Measured on equity, including floating PnL. A touch of the floor — even for a second, even with the position open — is a breach. Positions close, the account ends.
Why static#
Grow a Gold account to $30,000 and the floor is still $23,500 — profit becomes cushion. We deleted the version that follows your peak.
Your winnings should protect you, not chase you.
Worked example#
WORKED EXAMPLE
Gold $25,000 · 1-Step
Starting balance$25,000
Max drawdown · 6%$1,500
Floor$23,500
Floor after growing to $30,000$23,500
Breach#
Equity at or below the floor. All positions close at market. The account is permanently disabled — breaches are permanent, and the fee is not refunded. Start a new challenge to continue.
